BLACKS offers a mentorship program through our sister organization, the Ladies Club, INC.

Junior membership programs LIW (Ladies in Wait) and GIT (Gentlemen in Training) specifically focus on etiquette, presentation, and poise among other things. Girls and boys will have the opportunity to build community while also benefitting from: monthly support group with peers, select modules per term, the earning of accolades, domestic and travel abroad experience, and the building of their portfolios for college and/or vocational school admissions.

Junior members will also learn how to present themselves, how to dress for success. Members will participate in volunteer and community service opportunities as well as learn how to interact with others optimizing their strengths as they move forward. Students will gain self-sufficiency skills in preparation for the real world. All successful graduates will be eligible to apply for scholarships to university and vocational school.
